The grand touring car of impeccable classic styling.
Hand-built chassis
The Creighton's tubular steel welded chassis is custom built to accommodate the unique design features of the car. Because it is hand made, the fit between the body and frame is exacting. With equal weight distribution on front and rear, the Creighton-from birth-is a durable singular unit of form and function.
Disc and drum brake system
There's no compromise of quality when it comes to stopping the Creighton. The system features easily serviceable front disc brakes and heavy duty ventilated drums on the rear. With each brake application, the modern American-made system self-adjusts to give you full braking control at all times.
Spirited, economical four-cylinder engine
The heart of the Creighton is the Ford-built 2300 CID four-cylinder engine. Offering the most current in automotive technology, it boasts electronic ignition, heavy duty alternator, and the Federally-approved emission control components. And, whether driving in the city or on the highway, you'll delight in the positive, lively response afforded you. Parts and service are no problem, the Creighton can be serviced by any competent local garage.
Hand-crafted body
Beautiful lines. Durability. These characteristics make the Creighton a king among the classics. The completely hand-built fiberglass body averages 1/4" to 5/16" in thickness throughout. This added body ply is stronger than the hulls of expensive yachts and 3 to 4 times thicker than the leading domestically produced fiberglass sports car. But that's not all. The classic two-tone color scheme is of a polymer gel coat impregnated into the body material. Not only is this method of finishing a car four to five times more durable than ordinary automotive paint jobs, all the exterior surfaces are totally colored, making the car impervious to harsh road chemicals and salts.
Built-in safety features
Designed and built with your safety in mind, the Creighton features built-in, vertical, reinforced steel, side impact bars for added strength and rigidity. Down low, nestled between the frame and side rails, is the center-mounted gas tank-protected from impact all around.
All-weather protection
The Creighton can be driven and enjoyed no matter what the weather or time of year. Its interior is completely comfort-controlled with air conditioning, heater and defroster. The doors are perfectly mated to the removable side windows-which can be stored in the trunk when not in use-offer clear visibility and tight sealing. And you can bring back the thrill of open-air driving with the removable hardtop or the optional convertible top.
Distinctively deluxe interiors
Throughout, the Creighton surrounds you with almost every feature you might expect in a world-class luxury car. Plush carpeting and lush, comfortable seating. Woodgrain dash panel with a full complement of gauges and rocker switches. AM/FM stereo cassette. Digital clock. Custom walnut steering wheel. Also there's plenty of room for tall individuals as the seats are adjustable to accommodate all in comfort.
Exterior appointments
The regal crown of chrome and stainless steel is the Creighton's symbol of excellence. Just one look says it all...Oversize headlamps. The classy side header pipes. Dual trumpet horns and side mirrors. Genuine wire wheels. Fog and back-up lights. The classic hood ornament and landau bars. All this in triple chrome plating, accented with brushed stainless steel hardware, make this smart two-door phaeton a link with the past, yet beautifully in tune with the present.
